Munster Juvenile Track & Field Championships Day 3&4
Over the 16th & 17th July we had a three of our athletes competing in the Munster Track & Field Competitions.Aine O'Shea was third in the U18 Discus (1Kg) with a throw of 19.52m
Mairead Walsh competed in the U15 100m sprint where she was 5th in her heat with a time of 14.94sec.
Patrick Kearney was 2nd in the U18 Discus with a throw of 33.98m
Munster Junior Track & Field Championships
Patrick Kearney was back in action where he had a great day in the Munster Junior competitions on Sunday 25th July where he won gold. A great month for Patrick. Well done.
David Kenny - Tokyo Olympics
Sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to our Gofundme to raise funds in supporting David as he travels to Tokyo this week to represent Ireland in the 20Km Race Walk. On Sunday 18th during our Juvenile training, David took some time out and came to visit our juveniles with his U23 European Silver Medal. It was a unique moment for all of us, as it is such a rare occasion to hold a European Athletics Medal and to have one of our club members representing Ireland in the Olympics.
We would encourage you to get your children to watch the Olympics as it is the only competition where their is such a wide variety of events to watch.

County Juvenile Track & Field Championships
The very best of luck to all who are competing in the County Juvenile Track & Field Championships will be held over two days at An Riocht Track, Castleisland.
Day 1: Sunday August 1st - U12 to U16
Day 2: Monday August 2nd - U9 to U11
