In preparation for the Kerry Juvenile Co. Championships this coming weekend, Sun 1st August & Mon 2nd August 2021, please see the relevant information below:

VENUE DETAILS:
Ø Officials, Athletes, Coaches & Parents who want to gain entry to An Ríocht Track need to complete the Covid Questionnaire BEFORE attending the venue. The link is available at the bottom of this email & on the Kerry website.
Ø The entrance & exit to the venue will be the large gate to the side of the An Ríocht building. Gate keepers will have a list of all people eligible for entry. If you are not on the list you will not gain entry.
Ø There will be a small shop out-side the An Ríocht building with minimal supplies of water & some bars.
Ø Toilet facilities will be available, however, the door into the building will a gate keeper & only a certain amount of people will be allowed in at a time.
Ø There is NO entry into the building on the days of competition.
CLUBS:
Ø Athletes should report to the venue no more than 45 minutes before their event.
Ø Please nominate one member per club to collect the club numbers in the morning by the hut near the finish line.
Ø Each club will have their own area. Signs will be attached to fences with each club name on it. Clubs may place their banner over the signs for athletes to find the designated area.
Ø Athletes, Coaches & Parents MUST remain at their designated areas. Please stay back from the perimeter fence to allow the athletes safe passage & return to their designated area after completing their event. Athletes may be running in lane 8 so the perimeter fence must be kept clear for these reasons also.
Ø Coaches only may bring younger athletes to their competition area if they are unsure of where their competition is on.
Ø All athletes o13 & adults o18 should wear masks entering & exiting the venue.
Ø Clubs must ensure that their athletes, coaches & parents bring their own hand sanitiser.
Ø 1 Parent per athlete(s) per family, this will help us remain within the number guidelines. Whilst we are allowing parents attend, Covid is still in the country & we must follow Covid guidelines at all times. We request that each club ensures their athlete(s) & parent vacate the premises as soon as their event is over so that we can remain within the number quotas. The competition will have to finish if we go over these numbers.
Ø Please ensure that all implements are the correct weight on the day including turbo javelins.
