National Junior & U23 Track & Field Championships

The National Junior & U23 Track & Field Championships were held in Tullamore on Saturday 30th June. 

David Kenny continues to dominate in the Race Walking scene. David won the Junior 5K Race Walk in a comprehensive time of 21:59:10. 

Rossa Foley competed in the U23 Throws where he was third in the Javelin with a throw of 47.71m which is a new personal best. He finished fourth in the Shot (9.65m) and fourth in the 35lb WFD (7.19m).

Gneeveguilla AC Annual Mile Race Series 

Gneeveguilla AC will host their Annual Mile Race series over the month of July. 5 races on every Wednesday night at 8pm. Barraduff 4th July, Fossa 11th July, Knocknagree 18th July, Ballydesmond 25th July & Gneeveguilla 1st August. Full information on their website.
