The Munster U14 to U19 Track & field Championships were held in glorious weather over the weekend on Sat 13th & Sun 14th June in Waterford.

Rossa Foley one of our most dedicated athletes had a tremendous outing on both days. Rossa picked up 5 medals in U19 events: Silver in the Discus (26.89m) & Long Jump (5.27m). He received Bronze in the Javelin (32.76m), Shot (8.77m) & Triple Jump (10.84m). A great achievement.
Leanne Cronin who was competing in her very first Munster Championships competed in the U16 throws. Leanne improved her personal best in all four of her events. The Shot (6.85m), Discus (18.96m), Hammer (18.64m) & Javelin (11.84m). Keep up the hard work.
A special mention too to Siofra Foley who also competed on the day in the U14 Hurdles, Javelin, 200m Dash & 80m sprint. Well done everyone.
