County Road Championships 2015

The Kerry Road Championships were held on Sunday 22nd March 2015 in Firies Village. Weather conditions were perfect in what was a well laid out 5K loop through the backroads surrounding the village. There was a great turnout from all clubs.
This incorporated Junior, Novice, Senior & Masters categories

Results from our Club.
In the womens:

Maria McCarthy was 2nd senior, Oonagh Gleeson 2nd Junior, Mary O'Shea 1st in O35, Kathleen Chambers 2nd O35 and Pauline Joseph 2nd O40. The Masters O35 team also won Gold.

In the mens: 

Verners Tess 1st O40 & Richard O'Brien 2nd O40, Ger Ladden 1st O50 & Michael O'Connor 2nd O65. The senior mens team medalled, Arthur Fitzgerald, Ger Ladden, Verners Tess & Richard O'Brien.
