"The final days of the Woodie’s DIY individual indoor events were held this Saturday & Sunday at Nenagh Stadium. So far these championships have produced quite a number of new records, and a huge number of athletes have produced new personal best performances, which all augurs well for the future of athletics in Ireland."
From our club we had David Kenny taking part in the U14's 1000m race walk. David finished an impressive 5th place at a time of 6:05:79. This was a great achievement for David and we hope he continues to improve. A special thanks also has to go to Mike O'Connor for putting in the time to coach David.
