We must congratulate the West Waterford AC for organising such a fantastic race. We could not fault anything. Well done!!
Amongst the runners today were a number of athletes from the Marathon Mission programme. They use these races as training in the hope to gain olympic qualification to the London Olympics in the summer. We wish them all the best.
Farranfore had two runners taking part in this very competitive race. George McCarthy finished in 43rd position with an impressive time of 00:57:44. Maria McCarthy finished with a time of 01:02:44, 13th lady.
