The cross country season wound down in November.
Isaac Vickers made the long trip to Donegal on the 20th
November for the U-14 All-Ireland championships. On a dry but hilly course Isaac
started well and was well in the mix with the leaders. He lost a bit of ground
in the middle section before finishing very strongly finishing in 18th
place out of a large field of over 160 runners. He was part of the Munster team
who won the silver medal. Isaac has had a very successful season winning multiple
medals up and down the length and breadth of the country
Conor McCarthy finished a fine season with a 5th
place finish at the Munster B championships in Clare. This finished a very
successful year for Conor winning multiple medals at County, Provincial and
National medals over track and cross country. He also is excelling on the local
Parkrun scene recently winning in Tralee, as well winning the community games
cross country championships in October.
