Race 1 of An Riocht 5K series was held on Friday 30th August. Well done to Dermot Dineen who competed. Race 2 is Friday 6th Sept. in Castleisland at 7:15pm.

Juvenile Open Sports Day
The Club will be hosting their Annual Juvenile Open Sports Day - Multi Events on Sunday 22nd September starting at 12noon in GAA Grounds Farranfore. You do not need to be an athletics club member to participate. Events to choose from are Sprints, Distance, Long Jump & Throws. Events for all age categories. Check out our facebook and website for details. Also on the day we will be having a Jumble Sale with all proceeds going towards the club. Any club members who have sale-able household items to donate please bring to Sports Hall before 11am on the Day. Details: HERE
Table Quiz Fundraiser
On October 10th our club will be hosting a Table Quiz Fundraiser in Sherwoods Bar & Restaurant Farranfore from 8pm. Four per table with cost per table of €30. It has been a long standing tradition of our club to host a Table Quiz. It is guaranteed to be a great night of fun laughing and learning that delves deep into the Irish culture. Our brilliant host, will guide you through a thoroughly entertaining evening of trivia and excitement as the competition heats up. We guarantee what you don’t know you’ll learn in the most entertaining of ways.
Club Training:
- Juvenile U8 to U16 Tuesdays from 6-7pm at GAA Grounds Farranfore. €2.
- Sunday 11am Trail Training, Poll an Aifrinn in Kilclohane Wood Milltown, V93 YVA4. €2. Suitable for Juveniles and adults
- New Members welcome to participate in training.
