The Kerry Athletics Juvenile Development Indoor Sports Hall Games took place on Saturday 11th March in The Nagle Rice Community Centre, Milltown.
With almost 250 juvenile athletes competing between the years of 8 to 11 from the majority of Kerry's athletic clubs. It was a very enjoyable day with the main focus on introducing young kids to the sport of athletics. A special thanks to The Nagle Rice Community Centre, it's management and staff for the use of their venue and it was organised by Tralee Harriers AC. Well done to all of the athletes who took part and and gave it their all. Rachel Boyle was first in the U9 Sprint with Grainne Costello taking third in the U11 Speed Bounce. Diarmuid Kirwan travelling all the ways from Dingle did not disappoint when he finished in second place for the sprint. Amy Kelliher and Caoimhe Spring also did very well in all their events.
