Kerry Community Games Athletics Finals 2016

Castleisland was the place to be over the week-end of June 11th & 12th when the County Finals for the Community Games Athletics 2016 was held over two days. This is one of the major events for juvenile athletics organised in the county. 

Some of those who won gold in there events and will now go forward to represent Kerry in the Community Games Finals in August are: Cian Spillane (U12 600m), Leanne Cronin (U16 Discus), Liath Lenihan (U14 Hurdles), Malachy Kirwan (U12 100m) & Leah Foley (U12 Ball Throw). Apologies if I have omitted anyone. 

There was also plenty of our Juveniles who finished in the top 4 and made it to the finals. Well done to everyone.
