GloHealth Juvenile/ Junior & U23 Track & Field Championships

Day one of the GloHealth Juvenile Track & Field Championships took place in Tullamore on Saturday, 4th of July. Over 800 young athletes contested the national finals with some great performances.

Cian Spillane took part in the U12 600m distance. Following up on his great performance at the Munsters where he secured gold, Cian ran very well to finish in 4th place in a time of 1:43.25. This is a new PB for Cian.

Kayleigh Cronin took part in the Junior Women's Discus. Kayleigh secured a National Silver Medal with a throw of 36.10m. A great achievement by Kayleigh.
