The Woodies DIY Senior Track & Field Championships were held in the Morton Stadium over the weekend on Sat. 7th and Sun. 8th July. The weather conditions were a bit damp but all in all very good for the championships.

From our own club we had two athletes who competed in the championships.
Daniel Clifford took third spot in the Discus with a fine throw of 45.68m
Niall Prendiville competed in the 10Km walk race and finished in overall fifth place with a time of 48:07:05
