District Primary School Sports Day

The club will hold the Annual Primary Sports for the local schools on Thursday 3rd May at 6pm in the Keel GAA field. All primary school children within the Farranfore district are eligible to compete. Admission only €2.

Programme of Events

Come along and enjoy a great evening of sports anf fun for our children.

(Separate races for boys and girls)

1st Class   60m, 100m

2nd Class   60m, 100m, 4x100 relay

3rd Class   80m, 200m, Ball Throw

4th Class   100m, 200m, 4x100 relay

5th Class   100m, 600m, Long Jump

6th Class   100m, 600m, 4x100 relay

 

Children in 1st, 3rd and 5th class may move up a class to compete in each 4th, 5th and 6th class 4x100 relays respectively.

2nd class may move up to 3rd class Ball Throw.

4th class may move up to 5th class Long Jump.

Children who get placed in these events will go forward to represent the district in the County Primary School Sports Day in May 26th at An Riocht Track in Castleisland:
