County Intermediate, Masters, & Juvenile Uneven Ages XC

The County Intermediate, Masters, & Juvenile Uneven Ages Cross Country Championships on Sunday 11th October 2015 will be held in Bushmount, Firies.

Directions will be signposted from Firies village & Shanahan's Garden Center Cross on the N22.

Please allow some extra time for parking. Car parking is limited so carpool if possible.

For those travelling from Tralee, Castleisland & Killarney...... the easiest way is to take the L7001 road signposted for Firies at Shanahan's Garden Center just 2Km outside Farranfore Village on the Tralee side of the main Tralee to Killarney N22 road. The entrance to competition is approx.. 1KM along the L7001 on the right.

For those travelling from Killorglin & Dingle areas .... the easiest is when you come into Firies Village on the R561 continue on straight at Pat Sheahans Pub rather than going right for Farranfore Village. The entrance to competition is approx.. 2.5KM on the Left.

First race will be @ 11am, with the Intermediate & Masters Women's race. This will then be followed by the Juvenile Uneven Ages U9, U11,...U19. The final race of the day will be the Men's Intermediate & Masters.

U9 - 750m (Girls & Boys)

U11 - 1500m (Girls & Boys)

U13 - 2500m (Girls & Boys)

U15 - 3500m (Girls & Boys)

U17 - 4000m (Girls) , 5000m (Boys)

U19 - 4000m (Girls) , 6000m (Boys)

* Intermediate - 5000m (Women) , 7000m (Men)

Masters - 4000m (Women) , 7000m (Men), Men O65 - 4000m

* Intermediate athletes must be 20 years of age or over on 31st December in the year of Competition.
Age categories calculated from 31st December in the year of competition.
No athlete may obtain a birthday in the year of competition and compete in that age.
