Athletes Ireland has published the 2016 Athlete Carding Scheme policy. All athletes (current and any new applications) will be reviewed against the 2016 criteria for consideration to join the programme. The 2015 Athlete Carding review will begin in October and reviews/new applications will be considered thereafter.

Application Deadlines: All athletes must submit the Application Carding Form by the deadlines in order to be considered for carding selection. As per Athletics Ireland's Carding Policy, by submitting this form you are consenting to the use of your information. For the purpose of this application form, your information will be used to determine eligibility for selection and for athlete communication purposes.
- Youth/Junior applications due by 5th of October, send please to: JacquiFreyne@athleticsireland.ie
- Development/Senior/Discretionary applications due by 19th of October, send please to: performance@athleticsireland.ie
- Cross Country applications due by 7th of December, send please to: performance@athleticsireland.ie
