A special thanks to the race organisers and volunteers who put on a great event. This years race was very competitive with alot of athletes fighting for positions right up to the last hundred meters. The steep hill at the 3Km mark proved to be the most difficult part of the race.

Very well done to Connor Kissane & Caitriona Barry who made podium position in the Senior categories. Both Conor and Caitriona fought very hard right upto the last 100m to take their well earned 3rd place prizes. This was Caitriona's fast time for a 5K in 18:46.

Aidan McCarthy ran a new 5K pb of 17:29 to win 3rd in O35 category
Michelle Hoare also ran very well to win the O35 category in a time of 21:18
