Wild West Run 13.1 Mile Trail..Sat 1st Mar 2014

This is the fourth season of the Wild West Run which took place on Saturday 1st march 2014. The trail route started and finished in Kenmare. The majority of the 13.1mile route on trail with some very steep climbs and river crossings.
Over 100 participants competed in the event. The event is organised by Pure Running (www.purerunning.co.uk) and supported by Kenmare AC. Well done to all the organisers as this takes a great deal of planning to ensure the trail route is safe for all participants.

Well done to George McCarthy who was the first to cross the finish, some two minutes ahead of Paul Dean in 2nd place.
Well done also to Aidan McCarthy who finished in 6th place
