Munster Novice , U23 & Juvenile Even Ages XC C'ships Results 2013

The Munster Novice, U23 and Juvenile Even Ages Cross  country was held on Sunday Oct. 27th in Limerick Racecourse.
Their was a very large turnout considering how sometimes wet and very windy it was.

First up was the U10 grils who had to run 1000m. Well done to Shauna McCarthy who finished in 36th place. Shaune was one of the unfortunate competitors who fell over in the high grass. She did very well to get back up and work very hard to get back up through the field and finish so well.

In the U12 girls, 2000m, we had Natasha Myers running. Natasha was using this race as a training session before she competes in the Munster U11's in a few weeks time. She ran well and looked very comfortable in 72nd place.

In the Novice Womens race over a distance of 4000m we had Caitriona Barry racing. Caitriona showed her strength as she worked here way through the runners in the last 2000m to finish very strong in 11th place which was the 2nd Kerry lady home.

George McCarthy took part in the Novice Mens 6000m race. This was as per usual a very competitive field and the race started off very fast. George finished in 16th place which was the 3rd Kerry man home.
