Munster Senior & Masters T & F C'ships, Sunday 2nd June 2013

The Munster Senior and Masters Track & Field Championships were held at the CIT stadium in Cork on Sunday June 2nd 2013.
It was a warm sunny day for the athletes and spectators. Well done to everyone who attended.
Our club athletes took home plenty of medals with some great performances.

In the Senior events we had Arthur Fitzgerald who competed in the 5000m race. He finished in 8th place.
Daniel Clifford took part in the field events: Gold in the Shot Putt & Discus.

In the Masters we had:
Sean O'Shea ()40)  - Silver in Weight Throw, Gold in Javelin, Discus, Shot
Jim O'Shea (O70)   - Gold in Long Jump, High Jump, 200m & 100m sprints
Ed Mulcahy (O80)  - Gold in Weight Throw, Hammer, Discus, Shot
