National League Round 1 - Results 2013

The National league Round 1 was held on Sunday 26th May 2013 in Santry & Tullamore Stadiums.
The Men & Womens Kerry Athletics teams were competing in Tullamore.

The Ladies team did very well, clocking up a total of 101 points. This gives them an overall standing of 5th place. If they can keep this momentum up in Round 2 they will be guaranteed a position in the League Final.
From our club competing in the team: Maria McCarthy 

The Mens team had a poor outing with achieving a total score of 77.5. This was due to a shortage of team members. Those who participated did well. This puts them in 12th place overall. Alot of work needs to be done in Round 2 to have any chance of making it to the finals.
From our club competing in the team: Daniel Clifford, Sean O'Shea, Niall Prendiville, Jack O'Sullivan 

In the Division 1 mens league, An Riocht A.C were competing. The men did very well clocking up a total of 118 points to put them in 5th place overall.

National League Round 2 will be held on July 14th in Cork/Sligo, with the final held on August 18th in Tullamore.
