Tralee International Marathon 2013

The Kerry's Eye Tralee International Marathon was held on March 16th 2013 at 09:00 in Tralee. There was also a half marathon event which started at 09:30. The races finished in Tralee Town Park at the Ashe Memorial Hall. The weather conditions were excellent, no wind, dry and sunny. There was an amazing atmosphere around the town which fully embraced the marathon. Organisation was spot on for all aspects of the race. Congratulations to everyone involved.

 The Tralee International Marathon was also the inaugural Kerry Marathon and Half Marathon championship.

Half Marathon:

Congratulations to our own Maria McCarthy who was the first lady to complete the 13.1mile route in a time of 01:23:53. This was a great achievement and a PB for Maria.
