We had a number of athletes competing in the Senior and Masters events. We took home ten medals in total.
SENIOR EVENTS
In the 3000m Senior Womens race, Maria McCarthy retained her title by winning very comfortably in a time of 10:49:95. At the end of the events Maria took silver in the senior 1500m race in a time of 04:58:16. This race was won by Laura Crowe (Riocht) in a PB time of 04:25:96
Arthur Fitzgerald competed in the Senior Mens 3000m. This was a highly competitive race. Arthur ran a very strong race Senior Mens 3000m not published yet
Ian Crowley took gold in the Senior Mens High Jump with a height of 1.75m
MASTERS EVENTS
George McCarthy competing in the O40 category took gold in the 3000m (09:55:66) and the 1500m (04:39:42)
Jim O'Shea competing in the O70 category took silver in the 60m sprint (09:69), Gold in the High Jump (1.30m) and Silver in the Long Jump (3.76m)
Ed Mulcahy competing in the O75 category took gold in the shot (7.63m) and gold in the weight for distance (7.35m)
