Credit must go to the organisers as it was a very well organised race and the prizes for first finishers were very impressive. Talking to some of the participants they were very pleased with the race and look forward to next years race.
The 10K route offered a great challenge at around the 5Km mark where thay had to undertake quiet a steep incline. The difficulty of this hill can be seen in the finish times.
Well done to the Farranfore athletes who participated in the 10K race.
Arthur Fitzgerald finished second overall. Well done to Ger Ladden who also finished within the top ten finishers.
We had a double place in the womens senior category where Maria McCarthy was the first lady home, shortly followed in second place by Caitriona Barry.
Well done everyone.
